Are you looking for a calm and creative space to have your lunch and possibly create art? Students are welcome in a classroom environment where they can enjoy practising arts and crafts techniques. Students may also use this space to have lunch and enjoy each other’s company
About the Bistro
The Bistro is a space available at recess and lunch for students to hang out, play games, have snacks or lunch. The Bistro also sells snacks and drinks at affordable prices. At times, students and/or staff will bake and/or cook specialty items to sell. Student volunteers are welcomed at all times to help manage the Bistro.
About Our Breakfast Club
LSA’s Breakfast Club invites students to enjoy breakfast with friends before the beginning of their first period classes as well as at recess time.
When: Everyday 8:35-8:55 a.m. and 11:40-11:55 a.m.

About Ceramics and Plants Club
Students will be invited to work with ceramics out of clay. In addition to this, students will learn about 2 plants per session, how to care for them, and will propagate a plant that they will get to keep and take home.

The Grad and Prom Committee is responsible for the creation and distribution of graduation t-shirts and the organization of the Prom dance in late June.
The committee will also begin preparing for the prom dance by selecting the venue, hiring a DJ, picking the colour scheme and theme, ordering the decorations including balloons and flowers, and organizing the tables and student sitting arrangements.
Committee meetings begin in October, at which point grad the grad T-shirt is designed and a list of T-shirt orders is made (incl. sizes). By the month of February, T-shirts will be ready to be distributed to all secondary 5 students.
When: Meetings begin in October of each school year and continue throughout the year.
Students are invited to create the graduation mural whereby all the secondary 5 students will be invited to sign it.

About Honour Band

SWLSB ASCEND Leadership (ASL) is a service of SWLSB Spiritual Animators to unite and support student leadership development in schools, within our school board.
ASL is an umbrella to serve school programs by helping staff to lead initiatives that help young people develop into engaged and authentic leaders.
ASL works with schools to provide the tools, training and challenging experiences necessary to foster continuous success in the classroom and beyond as students construct healthy lives and relationships.
About the Agape Association
Agape is a non-profit, charitable organization. Their mission is to enhance the vitality of the underprivileged English-speaking and multicultural people of Laval by offering a wide variety of services that promote and improve mental and physical well-being.
Agape’s vision is that all people of Laval have access to the indispensable things in life such as food, shelter and clothing and that all people have equal opportunities with regards to education and healthcare.
About Plant Club

About LSA’s Science Fair
The School Science Fair is where students will be prepared to present their respective science fair projects. Students who move on to regional and provincial science fairs will work on obtaining ethics approval, poster development and intense editing of their reports.

About Stock Market and Trading Club
Interested in learning about the stock market? Students of the Stock Market and Trading Club learn to trade and invest in shares of their favourite companies with a fictional trading account. We follow the market fluctuations and stories that make the market act bullish or bearish. We learn how to profit from these stories and calculate opportunity and risk.
